Elias og Kajsa

Elias and Kajsa are Norwegian travelers who are full-time content producers, both domestically and internationally. By documenting all their travels, their lives have been filled with new adventures they never could have expected.

Introduce yourselves!

We are Elias and Kajsa, both 27 years old, based in Asker – when we are not traveling. We spend 8-9 months a year on adventures around the world. For the past five years we have made a living from our cameras, where we both produce video and photo content for some of the country's largest companies and brands, while also sharing our experiences on social media (Instagram & TikTok @eliasandkajsa).

What kind of activities do you do?

We are globetrotters who love adventure! We travel the world, skydive, and explore the mountains of Europe on foot. We spend the summer in our campervan, driving through Norway and large parts of Europe. In the winter you can often find us in Asia, although we have slowly but surely also gotten a taste for the Norwegian winter.

What are you passionate about?

We are passionate about creating creative content, both for our own pleasure and to inspire others to create their own adventures, whether it is here in Norway or out in the world. Our goal is to open the eyes of more people to a creative lifestyle, and help them find their own path there.

Name some highlights/achievements you are proud of.

We are proud to have started our own company at 21 years old and have been living off our cameras since then – something we as former students with countless part-time jobs never thought was possible. One of the biggest highlights is when we meet people around the world who are out on adventures because they have been inspired by us. Having such a positive impact on others means an incredible amount to us.

What or who has inspired you to keep doing what you do?

Eight years ago, there were few people traveling the world and documenting their adventures, but we were inspired by pioneers like Jon Olsson and Sam Kolder. Later, @marieandjacksnow has also inspired us to create our own profile as a couple and dare to do something no one else had done in Norway before.

What eco-conscious choices do you make in your everyday life and when you’re out hiking?

We’re always conscious of taking care of the places we visit, from hidden gems in Norway to popular destinations internationally. We try to minimize our footprint on our travels, even if it sometimes requires a balance between being able to experience a place and preserving it.

What’s your best hiking experience? And worst?

We’ve had many amazing trips, but one of the very best has to be the summer of 2024 with midnight sun hikes in Lofoten. Hiking in the mountains with constant sun and no one else around us, it’s simply magical!

The worst experience? It has to be when we had to walk two hours in pitch darkness down a long alpine slope in Italy after missing the last gondola down after 10 hours in the mountains – and as if that wasn’t enough, the ground was a minefield of cow dung!

Have you ever been scared while hiking?

Although we have rarely felt outright scared, there have definitely been moments where situations have become very real, and we have had to make important assessments to ensure our safety. These experiences have taught us a lot, especially the importance of being present and making good choices, no matter what the end result may be.

What is the best thing about being out in nature?

The freedom, relaxation, and inspiration we find there. Nature is both our sanctuary and our workplace – a combination that gives us the best of both worlds.

Where is the dream trip?

We have many dream destinations on our list, but to name a few: Campervan tour in New Zealand/ Australia, mountain hikes in Canada, and skydiving in Hawaii!

Where would you like to be right now?

After a long and hectic summer, and with autumn and winter in sight, we are dreaming of a tropical island in Asia. With a coconut in one hand and a map in the other, we would spend the time planning next summer's mountain and campervan adventures!

Where will you be in 10 years?

In 10 years, we will be living by helping others realize their creative dreams, both with and without a camera, on a journey, and not least finding our own paths in life that are outside the norm. Where we live and whether it is even in Norway, that is uncertain! And maybe there are some children in the picture too, who knows?

Give us a fun fact!

Before we met, Kajsa had barely set foot in the mountains, and Elias had barely picked up a camera. So we can safely say that we have complemented each other quite well in these areas!

What is your favorite shoe from ALFA?

The Holt A/P/S GTX has been a solid hiking companion for both of us, especially on the longest days in the mountains. It was with this model that we were first introduced to ALFA! Lately, the Driv Advance GTX has also become a new favorite – the perfect combination we need for varied days out and in the mountains.
