Description

Finally, Outback Xplore is equipped with the Rottefella Xplore outsole! This comfortable and extra warm BC mountain ski boot is designed to provide maximum stability and control in demanding terrains. With integrated gaiter and two-way zippers for enhanced ventilation, the boot is perfect for long, cold tours and loose snow.

The stable inner shoe with flexible zones makes for comfortable skiing, while the ALFA Double Lock System makes it easy to adapt the shoe to the foot for extra support on downhill runs. The boot is winter-lined with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane and has an insulating midsole that keeps feet dry and warm.

RECCO avalanche system is integrated in the boot for extra safety. Furthermore, it is reinforced with Kevlar in exposed areas for the most demanding backcountry ski touring in the mountains and alpine environments. Extra toe reinforcements protect the leather from sharp ski edges .

Note that certain snow/crust conditions are an extreme strain on the boot’s materials, and with use under such conditions, increased wear is expected
